I'm home in Columbus, came in last night. I had my critique with Diana which lasted several hours, but it was worthwhile. I took slides of all my recent work this week because I'm applying to a bunch of grad schools (Art Inst. of Chicago, Pratt, U of Iowa, U of Wisconsin, and Rhode Island School of Design are my choices right now). I'll be in massive debt, but at least I'm not in debt right now (other than to my parents). I still don't know what I should do for an actual career, though.
I went shopping with Joy tonight and got presents for Kate and Phil. Ted is the hardest to shop for because no one ever knows what he wants or likes. I've got something in mind for Mom and Dad. Still no clue about what to get for Shannon though - am I not supposed to know what would be "perfect" for her by now?
We're going to Paducah on Monday, staying till the day after Christmas. That day I'll be dropped off in Louisville for a flight to Iowa where Shannon will pick me up, and I'll get to be with her till the 6th. School starts a week later - I might go up early to work on stuff.
Those are my fascinating plans. Sorry I don't have much interesting introspection at the moment.

Stupid blogger. My archive isn't working.
Anyway, some stuff has happened. Thanksgiving was great; Shannon flew in and stayed for almost a week.
Joy got in a car accident in the Honda a couple of weeks ago, and the car was totalled. Luckily no one was hurt. This means also that instead of driving that car to see Shannon after Christmas, I'll be flying.
I've been busy finishing up my projects. I still have three (!) prints to make for my book, but it's going all right. I got a giant roll of paper that I've done some big drawings on, which is exciting. This is my finals week. I have an exam in a few hours, and another one on Thursday. Friday I have a drawing critique with Diana.
